Our bursary scheme helps us keep our learning affordable for the third sector, with fees determined by your organisation’s turnover.

Flexible Training Opportunities gives Scottish businesses with a staff team of up to 150 employees the opportunity to apply for up to £5,000 towards employee training costs.

Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs)

We are an ILA-approved centreThe Academy is an ILA approved provider of programmes and can accept payments from Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs).

If you are on an income of £22,000 a year or less, or if you are on benefit, you can apply to get up to £200 a year towards the cost of your learning. You need to be over 16 years of age, and must ordinarily be resident in Scotland.

What are the fees?

For shorter programmes, our bursary-supported fees for third sector learners are £100 / £150 per two-day module, depending on your organisation's turnover.

If you are you are working in the private or public sector, our fee is £350 per two-day module.
