Our Commitment to You

We evaluate everything we do.

Feedback good and bad is collected, collated, and mused upon. This helps us to create the best learning experience for you. And helps us sleep at night.

Our team is committed to providing learning to change the world. This is a big statement but we like to think big even when the solution is small.

I'd absolutely recommend the Academy. They're very approachable, and flexible and bring lots to the table. If you have even a small idea, they will help flesh it out for you."
                                                                    Neil Lovelock, CRNS

Once you commit to learning with the Academy we make these commitments to you.

Learning Support

We will support you through your learning. Getting your head round themes and assessments - even getting to your modules - can be tough. Our team and your tutor therefore promise to answer any question you pose. Our aim is to promote learning not confusion.

The Academy's Learning Manager will try to resolve any problems you have with your programme. The rest of the team will regularly check your happy with your programme.

You will also have access to the learners’ area of our website. Here you can start discussions with other learners and look at a range of resources including downloads, recommended reading, and great websites.

Appeals

If you are going for an ILM accreditation and you wish to appeal against your mark, please write to the Director of the Social Enterprise Academy, Neil McLean. Neil will endeavour to meet or call you to listen to your issue within 10 working days of receipt of the letter. Our record of your appeal will be kept for a year afterwards. If Neil is not around to consider the appeal, your appeal will be looked at by one of our tutors.

Equal Opportunities

The Social Enterprise Academy is committed to equal opportunities for all and will not discriminate in any aspect of its practice irrespective of gender, disability, age, ethnic origin, marital status, religious or political beliefs, sexual orientation, trade union membership or other irrelevant distinction. We welcome diversity among our staff team and learners. We strongly believe that the equality of opportunity is in the best interests of the organisation and its community.
